My mission in life is to help others reach their maximum potential for success, especially Japanese non-native speakers of English who want to get ahead in the English-speaking business world.

My entire business career has been in the international arena and I know what it is like to struggle with a foreign language in a challenging and competitive global business environment. My second language is Spanish and my third language is Japanese, which is truly a life-long pursuit.

I live in Tokyo, Japan and work as an executive search consultant focusing on ambitious and motivated advertising, marketing and mobile industry professionals. I help individuals find work they love and I help world-class companies build great teams.

Prior to my career in executive search I founded and sold a multi-million dollar trading company with offices in Los Angeles, Tokyo and London. I travelled around the world for the first time at age 20 and still enjoy travelling and learning new things every day.  Working in recruitment has been more interesting and given me more satisfaction than anything I’ve accomplished so far.

Gaishido.com was founded due to my desire to help others and because I see a need for insightful and practical information on what it takes to succeed as a professional in a gaishi corporation.
